The printing needs to be printed on the rubber powder side of the DTF film, and the rubber powder side feels rough.
Can be printed on white or dark T-shirts
You can either print in color, and transfer to white textiles, or you can print 1 layer of color then 1 layer of white, and it can be printed to dark textiles.
Apply to a variety of textile materials
While direct to garment printing works best on 100% cotton, DTF works on many different garment materials: cotton, nylon, treated leather, polyester, 50/50 blends, and both light and dark fabrics.
Use less white ink
DTF requires less white ink – about 40% white versus 200% white for DTG printing. White ink tends to be the most expensive, so reducing the amount of white ink can be quite a money saver.
Compatibility: Fit with all DTF Printers.
No pre-treat: You can print on t-shirts, hats, bags, flags, banners, and any other fabric without any pre-treatment.
Easy to use: Just place the DTF film in your DTF printer accordingly. Place the coating side up. You can create, crop, and print any size and image you want.
First, print over the film using the proper settings on your printer. Cover your print with DTF Powder, make sure that the glue powder sticks to the pattern evenly.
Put the DTF film into the oven to bake, the temperature is 230 C°, and the baking time is 150-180 seconds. After baking, all the rubber powder on the pattern needs to be melted, and the pattern does not crack.
Heat transfer, the clothes need to be ironed first, and then put the pattern on the position where the clothes need to be hot stamped for hot stamping. The temperature of hot stamping is 320 C°and it needs to be pressed for 50 seconds. Slowly tear off the film when the film gets cold.
Until a day before printing, the rolls should be stored in their original packaging in order to prevent them from damages that may occur due to varying temperatures and conditions. The rolls should be unpacked 24 hours before use to get them acclimatized. Ideal room conditions are at 45% r.H. and 77 Fahrenheit (25 Celsius).
