OUR JOURNEY STARTS AT 1970
The prime minister of the era Derviş Eroğlu in opening ceremony of our Paper Mill, in Turkish Republic of Cyprus.
2005
We started to become operational as Canapa Paper Technologies.
2007
We made an investment for converting machines to rewind and slite for paper and board.
2009
We made an additional investment for 165 cm width paper coating machine to produce special papers.
2010
We started to produce sublimation papers.
2015
We started to export to the European market.
2016
Production capacity increased four times and 3.20m-wide paper production started. Mimaki tested and approved the quality of Canapa papers.
2017
Tübitak approved our project to produce sublimation ink and invested in the Ar-GE process. We produced the first samples of sublimation Ink for inkjet printers.
2018
2020
CANECO, which was established with the subsidiary of Canapa Paper Technologies and Natura Tekstil, which has been operating in the textile sector for many years, started its operations in 2020. The company’s first launch was 100% recycled sublimation paper, which is the first in the sublimation paper industry.
TODAY
With its 3500m² factory area based in Turkey and trade firm based in the US, Canapa is one of the leading sublimation paper manufacturers in the world. By producing and selling different types of sublimation paper, we dominate the Turkish sublimation market with a %60 market share and we export our products to more than 30 countries.
